Tax Group

This is a grouping done on the items based on their tax percentage.

UID

This is the unique identification code generated by the system for every tax group.

Name

This is the name of the tax group.

Remark

This is a field to enter any additional information or remark regarding this tax group.

Tax Type

This is to select the tax type from the drop down menu. Various tax types include GST , SGST, CGST, Cess On GST, Calamity Cess, Service Tax, Edu Cess On Service Tax, Higher Edu Cess On Service Tax, Excise Duty, Edu Cess On Excise Duty, Higher Edu Cess On Excise Duty, CST, VAT, Cess on vat.

State

This is to select the state or geographical area whether outside country, outside state, within state for a particular tax type.

Rate

This is the percentage of interest for that particular tax type in that particular geographical area.

Input Account

This is the name of account head considered for tax during the input transaction (purchase).

Output Account

This is the name of account head considered for tax during the output transaction (sales).
